My son is OBESSED with Legos. He talks about them all day, plays with them, and dreams about them, so naturally we had to have a Lego birthday party for him. There are a million things you can do for a Lego party. This was the easiest most inexpensive party I have planned by far. We had his party on New Years Eve which is his actual birthday, and we kept it really simple, the kids and adults had a blast!
I printed out Lego man faces and used clear packing tape to cover and seal them onto the bubbles.
I thought it would be alot easier. It took forever to frost it. It's a 9" by 13" baked chocolate cake, and 8 vanilla cupcakes. After it cooled I put the cake upside down and trimmed it to make it more flat. I cut the cupcake tops off and stuck each one onto the cake with some cream cheese frosting that I made as blue as it could get.
My sister made these cupcakes using dots as the lego bumps ( I don't know what else to call them). I constructed the Lego cupcake tower, which was super easy and fun to make.
